– It was the 1st of February 2024, when I participate at Goldstream Lodge. My purpose was to witness the raising of Bro. John Dela Cruz, my future son in law.

– The day before I meet VM Brian Mitchel who was meeting at the lodge for a rehearsal. Instantly he made me feel at home. So did all the brother the next day at the reception, during the drinks and dinners. The atmosphere was at a great camaraderie.

– The presence of officers from the Grand Lodge make it more grandeur. DDG District Deputy Grand Master RWB George Andrew and Grand Júnior Warden RWB Ron Cawthra, future Gran Master of the GL of British Columbia e Yukon. Also a representation of the United Peninsula Lodge, brought joy to the day.

– Business as usual. But when it came to the raising ceremony, it became serious and professional. All the participants, delivered theirs part by hard, with emotion and passion, In short, it was a job well, well done.

– The Goldstream Lodge goes back to The 50s, precisely to 1954. The lot and building they owed, recently was exchange with the municipality to another location, so this lot will become part of a great open city park. This real estate deal , as Brother VM Brian Mitchel mention , was the deal of the decade, or for the century for the lodge.

– Let’s hope that this will help the local and National fraternity to grow again, attract new members. The essential for this , the Goldstream Lodge already have, the warm and brotherly environment. The new home will enhance this.

– Traveling and visiting lodges in other jurisdictions, as a former Grand Secretary of Foreign Affairs, of my Grand Lodge ( Grand Lodge of Rio Grande do Sul )was and still is a way to always confirm the great values we all share.

– May the new Master Masons, Brothers John and Benjamin have a smooth and constant journey forward to the enlightenment and become better than they already are.

– And may the lodge , the Goldstream Lodge have a future as the past, a long, a strong future for the better of many new incomes.
– I have been given a Pencil from the VM , and a beautiful Trowel.

-Life is not always sweet and perfect, but is much better when you visit a Masonic lodge , far away from your home and feel that Masonic relationship really are a great value. May the Great Architect bless us all and allow us long life.

Na Ásia, República de Singapore, independente da Malásia, desde 1965 quando entrou em uma espiral de crescimento, sendo atualmente um dos países mais caros do mundo por sua evolução economica como porto e valorização dos espaços. Vinte cinco por cento do seu território foi tomados dos mares. Todas as montanhas foram parcialmente raspadas e a terra usada para esta invasão. Foi um entreposto do Império Britânico, em especial por causa da pimenta que na época valia seu peso em ouro.

Uma cidade impressionante pela arquitetura, vanguarda em projetos urbanísticos. A maior população de origem Chinesa, mais de 70%. População de origem indiana representa 7%. Muitos templos hindus e mais ainda templos Budistas. Alguns bairros sao arquitetônica e culturalmente seu país de origem.

O edifício ícone é o Marina Bay Sands– três torres com uma nave sob eles- e o Maria Bay Garden com suas árvores gigantes de copa virada , de metal, revestidas com plantas são simplesmente uma atração diurna e noturna sem precedentes. Foi nesta área que assistimos a bateria de fogos em três estágios na contagem regressiva para 2024 o que foi a mais bela e longa que tive oportunidade de assistir. O retorno com metrô, foram cenas de metrô da Índia e Mexico, super super lotados portanto com direito a massagem.

O Cruzeiro da Royal Caribbean com o navio Spectrum of the Seas com paradas em na Tailândia e Vietnam parte da Marina Píer em Singapore. Nha Trang e Ho Chi Minh City,(Saigon) no Vietnam e Laemchabang , Bangkok e Pattaya na Tailândia.

Em Bangkok, o templo Wat Pho, do Buda deitado , revestido com ouro e as inúmeras tores revestidas com mosaicos do século 19. Templo preservado pela Unesco. São mais de 400 tempos em Bangkok. 95% da população seguem o Budismo. Pataia, mercado flutuante e praias.

O navio Spectrum of the Seas, um dos 27 navios da frota da Royal Caribbean é um dos mais digitalizadas da frota. Painéis em 4K nos teatros, nos restaurantes, nas paredes deixa o ambiente em movimento. É o futuro aqui e agora. Robôs no bar, robôs no teatro para dispor cenários. Navio preparado e decorado para atuar na asia. Portanto comidas asiáticas nos buffets dos restaurantes são atração.

Um encontro familiar. Pelo terceiro ano nos encontramos em um cruzeiro. Lauren e John , Rejane e Marcos. Eles vieram de Langford da British Columbia e nós de Montenegro -Rio Grande do Sul . O que somos? No final somos lembrança para os outros por um tempo.

A rotina em um Cruzeiro, é como um hotel all inclusive flutuante. Piscinas, bares, muitos restaurantes, shows , cinema, sauna, academia, salao de beleza, e sempre com uma vista diferente por chegar em novos portos conforme o roteiro ou somente o mar em constante movimento. Já foram até agora 19 cruzeiros em várias companhias. Já foram até agora 152 países visitados.

–A vida não é sempre perfeita, mas fica muito melhor com mais uma viagem pela Ásia, por Singapore , pelo Vietnam e Bangkok de avião e de navio.

– Por quê? Porque tudo é uma questão de atitude.
